Thank you for choosing Gleaming Glass & Blinds for custom blinds, shades, and drapery. Below you’ll find our key store policies covering orders, shipping, returns, warranties, and more. If anything is unclear, please contact us—we’re here to help.

🛍️Placing an Order

We offer both ready‑made window coverings and custom‑sized blinds, shades, and drapery panels made to your measurements. Product details, fabric choices, mount type (inside/outside), and hardware finishes are selected on each product page before checkout.

Please double‑check all measurements, fabric selections, lift mechanisms, and color options prior to placing your order. Custom products are produced based on the information you provide.

📏Measurement Guidance

Accurate measurements are essential for a proper fit. We recommend using a steel tape measure and recording width first, then height. For inside mounts, measure the tight opening; our fabrication team will take standard allowances as needed. For outside mounts, add coverage beyond the opening for best light control.

✏️Order Changes & Cancellations

  • Custom items: May be modified or cancelled within 24 hours of order placement if production has not begun. After that time, changes may not be possible.
  • Ready‑made items: Can often be changed if the order has not shipped. Contact us as soon as possible.
  • To request a change: reply to your order confirmation email or contact us directly (details below). Include your order number.

💲Pricing, Promotions & Currency

All prices are shown in U.S. Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated. Promotional pricing, coupon codes, and seasonal sales cannot be combined unless specifically indicated. Pricing for custom orders reflects fabric grade, control type, size, and hardware configuration.

We reserve the right to correct pricing errors at any time. If a correction affects your open order, we will contact you for approval before proceeding.

💳Payment Methods

We accept major credit/debit cards, select digital wallets, and other payment methods supported by our checkout. Full payment is required at the time of order for all custom products.

🚚Shipping Overview

We ship nationwide within the United States and to select international destinations. Many U.S. orders qualify for free standard shipping. Transit time for domestic shipments typically runs 5–8 business days after dispatch; custom production time is additional. International transit varies by destination (often 10–25 business days).

Oversized headrails, long curtain rods, or bulk orders may ship in multiple cartons or via freight. Tracking information is emailed once your order leaves our facility (allow up to 48 hours for carrier scans).

📦Delivery Acceptance & Inspection

Please inspect packages upon arrival. If a box appears damaged, make a note with the carrier before signing (if signature is required) and take photos. Open cartons promptly and review contents against your packing list. Report shipping damage, shortages, or incorrect specs within 7 days of delivery so we can assist.

🔁Returns & Exchanges

🎯Custom‑Made Products

Because custom blinds, shades, and drapery are made to your specifications, they are non‑returnable unless defective, damaged in transit, or produced outside the tolerance ranges listed below. We will repair, remake, or replace qualifying items at our discretion.

📦Ready‑Made / Stock Items

Unused, unopened stock items in resellable condition may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Contact us for an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) before shipping items back. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless we made an error.

💵Refunds

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method once returned goods are received and inspected. Please allow 5–10 business days for processing by your financial institution.

🛡️Limited Warranty

We stand behind the quality of our products. Most Gleaming Glass & Blinds custom window treatments are covered by a 1‑year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use. Hardware finishes, cords, and motors may carry different coverage depending on manufacturer; we’ll advise at the time of sale.

  • Warranty applies to the original purchaser only.
  • Improper installation, normal wear, exposure to moisture beyond product specs, or unauthorized alterations void coverage.
  • Please provide photos and your order number to start a warranty review.

🎨Color, Fabric Variation & Size Tolerance

Dye lots, weave texture, wood grain, and monitor display settings can cause slight color differences between samples, online images, and delivered goods. Such variation is considered normal in the window‑treatment industry.

  • Fabric / material variation: Minor shifts in tone, texture, or pattern alignment may occur.
  • Size tolerance: Custom products are fabricated within industry‑standard tolerances of ±1/4 in (approx. 6 mm) unless otherwise noted.

👶Cord Safety & Use

Exposed cords can present a strangulation hazard to children and pets. Choose cordless, wand‑control, or motorized lift options where possible. Always secure cord cleats at a height children cannot reach and keep furniture away from windows where cords are present.

🔒Privacy Policy & Data Use

We collect limited personal data necessary to process orders, ship products, and support customer service. Payment information is handled securely by our payment processors and is not stored in full on our servers. Marketing communications are sent only if you opt in and you may unsubscribe at any time.
