Shipping Information

Thanks for shopping Gleaming Glass & Blinds—your destination for blinds, shades, and custom window treatments. Below you’ll find everything you need to know about processing times, shipping speeds, tracking, oversize freight, and international delivery.

🕒Order Processing Times

Standard (in‑stock / ready‑to‑ship) items are processed within 1–3 business days (Monday–Friday, excluding U.S. holidays) after your order confirmation email is sent.

You’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking as soon as your package leaves our facility.

🛠️Additional Time for Custom Products

Many of our blinds, shades, and drapery panels are made to your measurements. Please allow an additional 3–5 business days for production before shipment. Large or highly specialized commercial orders may require more time; if so, we’ll email an updated estimated ship date.

💲Shipping Rates

  • United States: Free standard shipping on most orders.
  • Upgraded / expedited: Calculated at checkout when available (cost varies by size & weight).
  • Canada & Europe: Real‑time rates shown at checkout; oversize surcharges may apply.
  • Other International Destinations: Rates based on destination, dimensional weight, and service level. Contact us if no rate appears.

Estimates exclude custom production time and customs clearance delays. Remote areas may require additional time.

📦Tracking Your Order

A tracking link (or freight PRO number for large shipments) will be emailed once your order ships. Please allow up to 48 hours for carrier scans to begin showing movement.

Ordering multiple custom items? They may ship in separate cartons with different tracking numbers; all tracking will be included in your shipment email when available.

📘Split & Partial Shipments

To get items to you faster, we may ship ready‑made components separately from custom pieces. Don’t worry if packages arrive on different days—just keep the tracking email handy. If you believe something is missing after all cartons arrive, contact us and we’ll help reconcile.

🌍International Shipping

We currently ship to many global destinations. Availability depends on product size limits, carrier networks, and import restrictions. If your country doesn’t appear at checkout, email us and we’ll explore options.

Oversized tracks, long rods, or bulk commercial orders may require freight service and a custom quote.

💼Customs, Duties & Taxes

International customers (outside the U.S.) are responsible for import duties, VAT/GST, brokerage, or other fees assessed by your local customs authority. These charges are not included in our product prices or standard shipping rates.

Please check with your customs office before ordering to avoid surprises.

📮P.O. Boxes, APO/FPO & Restricted Destinations

Some carriers cannot deliver long headrails, oversize curtain rods, or heavy cartons to P.O. boxes or military addresses. When possible, we’ll ship smaller components via USPS and coordinate alternate delivery for oversize items. If you need delivery to a special address type, please contact us before checkout.

📏Oversize & Freight Deliveries

Extra‑wide shades, long drapery rods, multi‑room commercial orders, or palletized shipments may ship via freight carrier. Freight deliveries may require:

  • Scheduled delivery appointment
  • Curbside or dock delivery (default)
  • Signature on receipt

Liftgate or inside delivery may be available at an additional cost—ask us when placing your order.

🔍Inspecting Your Delivery

Please inspect cartons on arrival. If packaging is visibly damaged, note it with the driver (if signature required) and take photos before opening. Open boxes promptly and check contents against your packing slip. Report shipping damage, shortages, or incorrect specs within 7 days so we can assist quickly.

Seasonal & Carrier Delays

Peak seasons (major holidays, year‑end promotions, severe weather) may affect both production and transit times. We recommend ordering early if you have an installation deadline (renovations, move‑in dates, event staging, etc.).

If a carrier experiences a delay after pickup, we’ll help monitor the shipment and escalate when possible, but transit times are ultimately controlled by the carrier.
